The NDIS

Understanding the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded program that provides support to Australians living with a permanent and significant disability. It funds individualised support plans to help participants live more independently and participate in their communities.

NDIS funding can be used across a range of supports depending on your approved plan. This may include daily living assistance, accommodation support, therapy, support coordination, community participation, and more. Funding is allocated across different support categories based on individual needs and goals.

To access the NDIS, you need to apply through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The process involves submitting an access request and providing evidence of your disability and its impact on daily life. Our team can help guide you through the process — contact us to discuss your situation.

Plan reviews are scheduled meetings with the NDIA to reassess your support needs and update your funding. They are an opportunity to ensure your plan reflects your current goals and circumstances. Our Support Coordination team can help you prepare for plan reviews.

NDIS Eligibility

To be eligible for the NDIS you generally need to be under 65 years of age, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have a permanent disability that significantly impacts your daily life. Learn more about eligibility →

Many people are unsure whether they qualify — and that's completely normal. We encourage you to reach out regardless. Our team can help you understand the eligibility criteria and whether there may be suitable pathways available to you. Visit our eligibility page or request a free callback.

Getting Started

How to Get Started

The easiest way to get started is to book a free consultation. Our team will discuss your needs, goals, and current situation, and help identify suitable support options. Book a free consultation →

Yes. Initial consultations are completely free and carry no obligation. They are simply an opportunity to explore your options and ask questions.

If you have an NDIS plan, it is helpful to have a copy available. Otherwise, just come with an understanding of your current situation, goals, and any questions you have. Our team will guide the conversation from there.

Timelines depend on the type of support required, available funding, and individual circumstances. Our team will discuss realistic timeframes during your consultation.

Switching Providers

Changing to Spry

Yes. You have the right to change providers at any time. We can assist you through the transition process at your own pace and with minimal disruption to your support.

Changing providers does not affect your NDIS plan or funding. Your plan remains in place — you simply update your service agreements to reflect the new provider.

Transition timelines vary depending on the type of support and individual circumstances. Our team will work with you to ensure the process is as smooth and straightforward as possible.
